ESAFORM supported thematic workshop

The 3rd International Workshop on Plasticity, Damage and Fracture of Engineering Materials

We are pleased to invite you to the ESAFORM-supported thematic workshop “The 3rd International Workshop on Plasticity, Damage and Fracture of Engineering Materials”, organized by Prof Tuncay Yalcinkaya, Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey with the support of ESAFORM. This event will set a venue in Istanbul (details announced later) on October 4-6 2023. 

The workshop aims to discuss recent progress in the fields of plasticity, damage, and fracture mechanics of engineering materials. Both computational and experimental studies are within the scope of the workshop, which will focus on a better understanding of how the material microstructure, loading and environmental conditions affect plastic deformation, degradation and failure mechanisms. The proceedings of the meeting will be published in Elsevier’s Procedia Structural Integrity Journal.
