Starting from 2020, ESAFORM presents a “Best communication award” for papers and presentations at the annual ESAFORM conference. The aim of this award is to promote research activities in material forming and young researchers, engaged in a PhD activity, to help them gain European/international recognition.
The Best Communication Awards 2023 are awarded to:
Gold medal
Mr Daniel KRZAK from University of Lyon, France
Title: “Development of a method for performance characterisation of PEMEC process considering electrolyte temperature in case of hybrid polishing of 316L steel”
Silver medal
Ms Mafalda GONÇALVES from University of Aveiro, Portugal
Title: “On the comparison of heterogeneous mechanical tests for sheet metal characterization”
Bronze medal
Mr Ricardo TRÂN from Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming, Germany
Title: “Influence of surface pressure and tool materials on contact heating of aluminum”
